Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing Sweet Bayou Lou for your shopping needs. We appreciate your business and want to make sure you have a pleasant shopping experience with us. Please take a moment to review our shipping policy:

  1. Shipping Methods: We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) as our carrier. Shipping costs are up to $5.99 per order (which is subject to change based on USPS shipping for domestic/regional areas).
  2. Processing Time: Orders will be processed within 24-48 business hours after successful payment. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the following business day. Customers can contact customer service if they have any questions or concerns.
  3. Order Tracking: A tracking number will be provided via email once the order is ready for shipping. It is important that you include your email address when placing an order. This is the best way for us to communicate with you if there are any issues with your order. You may track your order using the carrier’s website, https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input.
  4. Delivery Time: Delivery times will vary depending on your location/region. USPS requires that any essential oil based products are prohibited from being shipped using any other method but Ground Shipping, because essential oils are considered to be highly flammable. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number so you can track your package.
  5. International Shipping: We do not currently ship outside of the United States.
  6. Lost or Damaged Packages: In the event, your package is lost or damaged during shipping, please contact us immediately. We will work with your and the carrier to resolve the issue and get your package to you as quickly as possible.
  7. Address Changes: If you need to change the shipping address for your order, please contact us as soon as possible. It is quite often that we process same day orders. It is best to reach us by email, sweetbayoulou@gmail.com and call us at (848) 460-1469.  We will do our best to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to make the change once the order has been dropped off at our carrier, USPS.
